We’re a small team with big ideas and a passion for doing things well.
(she/her) is the Executive Director of Wikimedia New York City, leading on initiatives that bring together individuals, organizations, and institutions to collaborate on projects that support Wikipedia and the free knowledge movement. Her previous work as the Director of Engagement at SPUR included designing and executing strategic campaigns, rooted in narrative, to educate and mobilize communities to engage in public policy. Prior to this, Pacita helped lead programs at Harness, leveraging her cultural strategy experience to activate a network of high influence artists, entertainment industry executives, and movement leaders to use their power and platforms for good. Pacita graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Comparative Cultures and Politics. In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading Wikipedia articles, and making music.

Crystal Boceta
(she/her) is the Wikicurious Program Manager. As a new editor herself, Crystal enjoys traveling the country to help build strong local editor communities. When she isn't doing Wiki work, Crystal operates at the intersection of mission driven work and impact entertainment. She played a key role in speaker and talent curation for the Prebys Foundation’s 2026 WAVES Festival, featuring thought leaders across well-being, art, vision, entrepreneurship, and science. Her broader background includes designing programs for artists, activists, and entertainment industry executives at Harness, and leading civic engagement influencer campaigns at Culture Surge. Her earlier work at Creative Artists Agency supported initiatives such as TIME'S UP and the “I am a Voter.” campaign. Crystal graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Communication Studies. She lives in Los Angeles.
